As voracious readers, we always have a ready to read list of books. Books which already have been read, and are sitting pretty on a shelf-be it virtual or real- waiting for us to find the time and to dive in. But even though there are probably hundreds of books already available for us to read, here we are sitting on our hands waiting for a new book to come out. We can NEVER have enough books, it seems, and often the anticipation simply adds to the glory of it. Just like any other reader, I have an unattainable TBR list. Unattainable because I don't have enough money to buy all the books I want, hehe. Although 10 is a paltry number, these are my top most anticipated reads of 2018. I've already read a few that were on my list on the account of them being early releases (Midnight Blue, From Lukov With Love, Hidden Seams), but here's ten more.

1. Sinner by Sierra Simone

Expected Publication: March 15

Sierra Simone is the queen of smut. Ever since I read Priest and I found out Sean was getting a book, I have been counting down the days until I get my hands on this filthy goodness. The teasers kill me, and the book has all my favorite tropes (age-gap, virginal heroine, brothers best friend). Sierra is an amazing writer, and I know she will do this story justice.

2. Marriage of Inconvenience by Penny Reid

Expected Publication: March 6

I have already said I will read anything Penny writes. This is Dan and Kat's book, the last in the Knitting in the City series, and anyone who's been following these characters has been eagerly anticipating the romance between shy Kat Tanner and Dan The Security Man.

3. Dr. Strange Beard by Penny Reid

Expected Publication: July 10

Rascally Roscoe is getting his own book. The youngest of the Winston's Bunch, he's a bit of a hipster. Penny stated in a podcast she'll be making fun of hipsters in her new book and I can't wait to read what she's cooking up for us. Can't wait to see the know-it-all hipster fall head over heels with someone.

4. The Smallest Part by Amy Harmon

Expected Publication: February 13

Amy Harmon is one of the greatest authors of our time. She is capable of writing a story which makes you feel from the bottom of your soul. Her every word is precious, and she is one of the few authors that have made me bawl over fictional characters. This is Dr. Noah Andelin's book, the young psychologist from Law of Moses. After I read the synopsis, I knew I was in for a rough ride. But it's Amy Harmon. I'll read it, because I know she'll heal me along the way. Getting those tissues ready.

5. Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas

Expected Publication: February 27

This is the fourth book of The Ravenels series, and is about Dr. Garret Gibson, the only female physician in England. The third book was my absolute favorite, and we got to learn more about Dr. Garret there. Lisa Kleypas is an absolute favorite of mine. She is brilliant at historical romances, and I cannot wait to see the story she has in store for Garret and Ethan Ransom. I cannot wait to see how she illustrates the struggles of becoming a doctor at a time where only men were in the profession. I cannot wait to see two headstrong characters fall for each other.

6. With This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Expected Publication: March 20

Oh Jesse, my Jesse. The Lord of the Manor is back, and this time he'll be tested beyond what he's ever gone through. After reading the blurb I was intrigued at the concept, although it isn't a new trope. I was intrigued because I wanted to see how control freak Jesse would handle Ava forgetting everything that had happened within the last sixteen years. Jesse will have to make Ava fall in love with him again. This time around though, both Jesse and Ava are older- Jesse is nearing fifty, and knowing him he's probably not happy about it at all. Can't wait to see his brand of crazy again.

7. The Controversial Princess by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Expected Publication: May 22

I love royal romances, and this book sounds like it's exactly up my alley. And it's Jodi Ellen Malpas, so I have high hopes for it. Princess Adeline sounds like my kind of heroine (down to earth), while the male protagonist Josh Jameson sounds dreamy. I have a feeling this book will be angsty as hell, and I'm hoping doesn't end in a cliffhanger.

8. Disturbing His Peace by Tessa Bailey

Expected Publication: April 24

I have been waiting for this book since the first one of the series came out. Danika and Greer's story needs to be told yesterday! Their chemistry was burning up the pages in the other books, even when they weren't the main characters, and I know that Tessa Bailey will not disappoint. I have a feeling Greer, underneath that buttoned up exterior of his, is one dirty, dirty guy.

9. Dirty Charmer by Emma Chase

Expected Publication: April 30

This is a spin-off of the Royally series, and is about fun-loving Tommy Sullivan, and stuffy Abigail Haddock. If you remember Tommy from the Royal series, you'll remember him being a guy who's always in for a good time. I know I can count on Emma to bring the humor, cause her stories are always chock full of them. And if we get a glimpse of Nicholas and Henry, I'm not complaining.

10. Star by BB Easton

Expected Publication: Sometime in April

I love all things BB Easton. Her first book 44 Chapters About 4 Men has made me a fan for life (if you haven't read that, GO READ IT NOW). Star is about Hans, the sweet and sensitive rockstar who made BB fall in the kind of love that exists in fairytales. I can't wait to fall in love with the mofo, and then promptly fall out of love with him (so I can fall back in love with Ken, of course). Mainly, I can't wait for Star because it will inevitably lead us to Suit.
