Look at that pretty cover.

Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is a depart from K.I. Lynn's intense romances (remember Nathan Thorne), but it is no less delicious.

Emma Addison is a hard-working girl. She's working her butt off trying to make ends meet while also trying to complete her MBA. She smart, level-headed, and works at the Cameo Hotel. Emma has had her share of cantankerous customers, but it's sweat off her back.

Until Gavin Grayson arrives.

Or rather trips his way into the hotel. He's annoying, impossible to please, and his favorite target for taking out his frustration is Emma. Nothing pushes Emma's buttons like Gavin Grayson does, but she is determined not to let the the rich businessman get to her. However as much as she'd like to slap the man silly, Emma would also like to grab the man by the collar kiss him.

Gavin has strict control of his desires. He's always had a handle on his baser instincts, but nothing brings out his inner caveman like Emma Addison does. He lives for those short encounters with her, when he has her complete attention.

Both characters are determined not to give in to the other, but the temptation of the forbidden is always there in the room with them. This is something K.I. Lynn excels at. She's a boss at forbidden romances, and boy can she write angst.

Gavin was more laid back compared to her other heroes. He's not a complete asshole, just a man who's terrified of repeating his past mistakes. Emma is sweet, caring, and kind. She is also a realist, which is something I liked about her. She didn't have hearts in her eyes from the first encounter with Gavin.

I loved reading this story! It was entertaining from start to finish. Although Gavin did piss me off, he wasn't completely unredeemable. Both the characters were human, and this only made me connect to the romance more.

4 stars!
