I've read this book three times already since its been on my kindle. 😁

Reading a Sierra Simone book is like a treat. I try and savor the pages to make them last. This book was absolute perfection for me. Although the premise is not new, the characters and the way Sierra wrote them was amazing.

Zandy Lynch is a good student. She's always been. Zandy Lynch is also a virgin, something she never planned to be for so long. She's going into grad school and her virginity is this pesky little thing that she has to get rid of before she enter this new stage of adulthood.

Before a summer of signing herself away in the service of a college professor friend of her father's, Zandy finds herself alone for a night in London, and like any thrifty girl, she knows she has to make the most of it. Commence operation "Losing My Virginity". She's thought everything out: the best place to go to find a willing someone, all the things she needs once she gets there. She's perfected her look and prepared for all contingencies. But the one thing Zandy forgot to prepare for is London's unpredictable weather.

Which is how she finds herself faceplanting on a chest. An attractive chest attached to a very attractive man. 

Oliver Markham is having a shit day. And now this innocent, little girl, is peering up at him with stars in her eyes. He asks her what the hell she's doing walking around the way she is, and she tells him all about her ridiculous plan that he just can't let her see through. Zandy tells him the perfect solution to her problem. They're both staying at the same hotel, so why don't they make the best of it. Oliver hasn't been laid in a while and Zandy is the perfect candidate.

Which is how Zandy finds herself playing some naughty professor student games with him in her room. She has the best sex of her life and then promptly before Oliver can wake up, leaves. 

Zandy can't get Oliver out of her mind, and while staying at the house of the  Professor friend of her father, Professor Graeme, she fantasizes about him constantly. That is until Professor Graeme himself shows up. And who else it it, but her grumpy, naughty hookup from a couple of nights before. Oliver.

Misadventures with a Professor was a quick, and extremely enjoyable read. I really enjoyed Zandy's level-headedness, and her tendency to look at things in a logical way. Grumpy, hot, studious Oliver is my new favorite book boyfriend. I loved how when he was all in, he was just as vulnerable as Zandy. I loved how he loved her.
