Review:

I am convinced Jade West can make me read anything. I read a book about a gangbang because she wrote it, and I didn't think I would like it. Did I? Hell yes!

Supremely talented, she has a way of turning the most improbable of storylines into an escape for the reader.

I have been invested in this story since I read the first book on a whim. I didn't expect to get sucked into the story the way I did. I didn't expect to be thinking about the characters after I'd finished the book. But that's exactly what happened.

Jade built this world, a dark one, where Paige was a pawn and Brandon was the man playing the game. She's not supposed to mean anything, just another job for Brandon, but even the best laid plans can go awry.

Jade West has packed a punch in this book. The last book left us in the mother of all cliffhangers, and this one picks up right after that.

Paige who has finally gotten used to her life and who has come to love the man who captures her, is picked up and tossed into the deep end of the ocean once again. This time she has to stay alive because her sixty days are about to take a sinister turn.

Brandon, who's come to love the girl and can no longer imagine life without her, will do anything to get her back. Along the way he'll learn some family secrets, and harsh truths about things he thought he knew.

The only thing I'd wished was that we'd seen more interaction between Brandon and Paige themselves. I'm hoping Jade has a spinoff planned about a certain brother.

There might be a few things that happen in the book that people may not like,  but given the situation the characters were in, it needed to happen.

Just go in blindly trusting Jade, because she'll end up making you like things you would've thought you don't like.

4.5 stars.
