Blurb: NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO DELVE INTO THE SECRET SOCIETY THE ELITE SEVEN LUST an Elite Seven novel by Ker Dukey is LIVE!! Keep reading to grab your copy & to enter to win a $20 gift card!!! I was born with wealth, athletic ability, and looks that could melt the panties off a nun. I had a clear path to success. Until fate dealt me a cruel blow, leaving me empty and in need of purpose. My only focus now is to become part of The Elite—a secret society in one of the most prestigious colleges in the world. But everything comes at a price, and with The Elite, you have to earn your place. Lucky for me, being sinful is in my DNA. The only obstacle to full initiation is my task: seduce the un-seducible, the forbidden, and lure her with the sins of the flesh. Easy for a man like me…in theory. She started as my task, but what happens when the lines between lust and love blur, and the need for power rages war with the need for her? Accept your sin wisely, for the tasks given to earn your place are not for the weak—they’re for The Elite. This is my life, my chance, my legacy. I am Rhett Masters. I am Lust.

Review:

This is book one of seven in The Elite Seven series.

Rhett Masters life is for all appearances perfect. On the inside he's stuck in this cycle that he wishes to breal free from. His way of breaking free is by joining The Elite Seven, which is a secret society of sorts.

Each person joining is assigned a task to test their mettle, and Rhett's task is to seduce Chastity Griffin. Rhett a person who has always been in control of his baser instincts wants to possess Chastity, but lines begin to blur when she shows herself to me more than just a challenge.

Yes this book was predictable in some instances, but Ker Dukey's superb writing keeps you flipping the pages. Filled with drama, intrigue, mystery, and sex the book was a wild read. The author fully sets you up for the other books in the series, which I hope will explain the ending to this one. It's not a cliffhanger, but it teases you about the next couple in question.

I was expecting something darker because it's Ker Dukey after all, but I have to say that anything more than this would have been overkill. The almost gothic atmosphere was there without trying roo hard, and I really enjoyed reading about the society and the lives of the other people joining. I can't wait to read about more of these deadly sins! Some of my favorite authors are in this line up.
