Space, the second book in the all-new Laws of Physics Trilogy from Wall Street Journal and New York Times bestselling author Penny Reid, is available now! One week. Private cabin. Famous physicist. Still an unrepentant slacker. What’s the worst that could happen? Mona’s meticulously planned allotment of relaxation is thrown into chaos by the unscheduled appearance of her older brother’s band of friends, including the one person she'd hoped to never face again. Abram still makes her feel entirely too much, which is one of the reasons she disappeared after their one week together. But now, trapped on a mountain of snow and things unspoken, Mona will have to find a way to coexist with Abram, chaos and all. Laws of Physics is the second trilogy in the Hypothesis series; Laws of Physics parts 1 (MOTION) & 2 (SPACE) end with a cliffhanger. Download your copy today! Be still my beating heart.
Penny Reid has done it again.
Space starts off 2 years after Motion ends. This book begins with Mona going to her parents cabin. Her brother along with his friends are staying at the cabin, and Mona will be staying with them.
Along with Abram.
It's been two years since she's seen him, and Mona has never recovered from their last meeting. She regrets hurting him, lying to him, and she especially regrets not telling him how she really felt.
This Abram she meets is a new Abram. He's wary, distant, and wants nothing to do with her. But Mona feels she owes it to him to come clean. The two years that have passed have taught her one thing: she still has feelings for him, and their not going away any time soon.
I freaking loved this book. Like truly, truly loved it. I enjoyed how much Mona and Lisa's relationship had changed. Lisa was not a bad person, and this book made me realize that.
We got a cameo from Martin and Katy, which was one of my most favorite parts of the book. You have to read this for that scene alone. They haven't changed a bit.
Motion was angsty goodness, and I didn't mind the cliffhanger it ended with. It is necessary and I can't wait to see what Penny has in store for us in the next book.
