He can’t offer her what she wants. He definitely can’t give her what she needs. Thank goodness she’s half a world away, and he doesn’t have to deal with his attraction head on. But fate has other plans for him, and when Audrey once again lands in his path, it’s only too easy to fall back into their easy rhythm. And then their easy banter. And of course, each other’s arms. He tells himself nothing has changed. She still wants forever, and he still thinks tomorrow is long enough. But watching her search isn’t as easy as he thought it would be, and now Dylan must figure out if he’s really the love Scrooge he professes to be or if he’s been Fate’s willing victim all along.

Review: After Audrey's and Dylan's red hot affair in the first book, they are both living in seperate cities. Audrey career is just taking off, while Dylan has found his life becoming a repeat of every other day. There's no drive to what he's doing, and he finds himself thinking more and more of the remarkable young woman who managed to make quite and impression on him. Until he encounters Audrey in his city. Dylan is still hesitant to start anything with meaning with anyone especially somone so young as Audrey. Audrey is hesitant to invest herself completely in someone so emotionally resolute such as Dylan. She's just protecting herself, and I was happy to see she wasn't hanging around waiting for Dylan to chnage his mind. This is something I appreciated about this story. Audrey would be fine without Dylan, but she still wanted him. Both their feelings are strong for one another, it's only the matter of taking the jump. I really enjoyed Sweet Fate! The ending was so sweet and in a way more complete than the one we'd gotten from The Dirty Duet. I always enjoy Laurelin's books, and I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us!
